This piece was created especially for the Exhibition Nature's Revolt that was hosted in the Oxford Island Centre by Save Our Lough Neagh.
In 2023 the Lough shores were covered in thick blue green algae which was toxic to local wildlife and fish.
Based from a Photo I took from the are this has both realisitic qualities but yet the algae below has some of my signature circles.
This piece is sold as unframed for easy delivery and measures 2ft x 2ft.
Acrylic on 6mm PLY.
A large percentager of this will go towards Save Our Lough CampaIgn.
If you would like to see this piece in person, you can visit the Oxford Island Nature Reserve, Lurgan. The exhibition will be on display until Friday 8th March 2024.
